Greenlight Biofuels, Inc. produces clean burning biodiesel made from domestic resources. Biodiesel is a 100% renewable and biodegradable fuel derived from vegetable or animal oils and can be used in diesel engines without modification.
Greenlight Biofuels develops, builds, owns and operates biofuel facilities in North America. The company broke ground on its first biodiesel production facility in Princess Anne, Maryland in January 2007. They began production in November of 2007. A second facility has been announced in Laurens County, South Carolina, groundbreaking is scheduled for 2008.
