Greenlight Energy Resources, Inc. uses proven technologies to produce clean, renewable energy and fuels. Our biodiesel, solar and wind power companies help address the energy issues of our generation.

We are also engaged in the development of new technologies to convert ocean waves into energy, with an emphasis on utility scale facilities located offshore. Our proprietary technology platform has been developed together with leading research universities. Our approach has attracted research and development funding from third parties, including the United States Department of Energy.

Background

Greenlight Energy Resources was formed by the principals of Greenlight Energy, Inc. following the sale of their wind energy company to BP Alternative Energy (press release).

At the time of the sale in 2006, Greenlight was one of the largest independent wind energy companies in the country with a 6,000 MW development pipeline comprised of large-scale wind energy projects in 15 states.

By year-end 2007, over $700 Million of wind energy facilities developed by Greenlight will be operational, including a $500 million facility in Colorado being completed this year by BP.
